What is the history of Ringette and the World Ringette Championships?
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the invention of ringette by Sam Jacks in North Bay, Ontario in 1963. Please check out our history with a timeline of Ringette’s 60 years in Canada and around the world.
The WRCs were first held in 1990 in Gloucester, Ontario, Canada. Since that time, the prestigious event has been held in many international locations such as Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Canada and the United States.
