Welcome to the 2023 World Ringette Championships.
We are thrilled to bring the world to Calgary for the 2023 WRCs to present a celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Ringette and showcase the fastest game on ice.
The 2023 WRCs will play host to the U21 Junior World Championship and the President’s Pool World Championship, as well as showcase a U18 International Development Festival and Ringette Canada’s annual U17 La Releve camp. Over 350 athletes, coaches, and officials will be part of the thrilling action.

The 2023 WRCs will mark the 60th year of the fastest game on ice!
The sport of Ringette was invented in 1963 by Sam Jacks in North Bay, Ontario. In the 60 years since its inception, Ringette has grown in popularity across Canada and internationally to countries such as Finland, Sweden, France, Czech Republic, the United States, and beyond.
